Robert Gold is a researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Previously, he worked at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena, where he also received his PhD. Robert’s research is on innovation economics, political economy, digitalization, and entrepreneurship. He is particularly interested in endogenous location factors in the context of globalization, digitalization effects on firm performance and entrepreneurship, and in the political economy of globalization and technological change.
