Epistemology of the social sciences and pluralism in economics; history of political and economic thought
Jakob Kapeller is an economist who accidentally became a philosopher. He is an interdisciplinary researcher trying to connect insights from different social science disciplines. Jakob is affiliated with the Department of Philosophy and Theory of Science and the Institute for Comprehensive Analysis of the Economy (ICAE), both at Johannes Kepler University Linz. His research interests include the epistemology of the social sciences, the history of political and economic thought, heterodox economics and the distribution of income and wealth.
