Andrew Acevedo, Ph.D., is currently a Program Manager in Strategic Alliances at the Mass General Research Institute. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences and former Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Integration of Science and Industry, both at Bentley University. Andrew’s work deals with studying and facilitating the process of translating biomedical research into new therapies, treatments, and products; he is particularly interested in the role of and interactions between the academic, private, and government sectors in this process. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
